There will always be 'tiffs' of some sort or other on ALL forums, in this way - they do actually reflect 'outside' (I don't like the term real life, cos here is real too) life.

I believe we are capable of intelligent debate here (they may be, I'm not sure I can), but I do agree with you Lacysue that on odd occasions 'we' have got a little heated - but (usually) no one gets hurt.

Join in and reap the benefits of an excellent group of people

I echo what piskie says and also want to add that this forum has given me a lot of useful knowledge as well as fun and have made some lovely friends who have been very supportive when things haven't been so good. I've also met a couple of these lovely people on here and hopefully will meet more.

I thought about joining previously but alas there was tiff of some sort. Which caused me to wait to see if this board was worth the trouble.

Well, as a fellow gardner....if something was dying....what would you do.....do you feed it negativity.....or do you inject some TLC into it?

I never give up hope...whats the point in that. I always see the positive as best i can.

So, instead of saying something is dying (which i cant for the life of me see how it is).....why not add some of your wisdom, TLC etc and so on.

Plants, animals humans......nothing will thrive with negativity.

Now, in saying all that.......what type of things are you talking about? Can you post a thread to give us an idea.

Threads going off topic....sure whats the harm in that..as long as you get the information you want. We are all human (hope so anyway ) and i very often go off the point several times a day...but....thats life.

Am really interested to see what type of things you want to post about. Really, you have been reading so much for a long time, you are bound to be able to share a lot.
Do you have an allotment? Do you grow at home like i do (although my garden is a huge field and my 6 veggie patches and polytunnel are probably the size of an allotment, but right at my back door)

What sorta things do you grow.

You see, you have everyone interested in you already and we want to know more about you.....cant think of anything friendlier.

Also, welcome to the vine. I am new myself, but have had a great welcome and enjoy coming on here all the time.

With the greatest respect lacysue2, if you've been reading the Vine for two years, you would know that julesapple is anything but 'rude and patronising'. Unfortunately the written word is all too easily misinterpreted, and I hope that we are misinterpreting you and your posts here.

The Vine is a place of wonderful harmony and fantastic knowledge and support. I have been an active member here for three years now, and it continues to grow in member numbers and quality of advice shared. I'm very happy to be a part of it.
