Wow, that's what I call a guest list Flo...I'd love to join in.

My list would include the above plus Shaun Bean, Nicolas Cage, Lance Armstrong, Janet Street Porter, George Best, Martin Luther King, Ali and my late Mum.
But I'd need a considerably bigger table

Eddie Izzard, Wallace & Grommit, Helen Mirren, Piers Brosnan, Tina Turner, Stephen Fry and David Attenbrough. Ooh, and the nice lady who runs my local coffee shop as she often gives me a larger piece of cake.

          All Grapes and then:

          Alan Turig
          Sir Ernest Shackleton
          Alexander Solzhenitsken (sp)
          Henri Charriere
          Werner Von Braun

Once all the high brow conversation had finished, I would speak to my non grape invitees, would love to know how Von Braun reconciled his earlier and later work in his head, how the Russian bloke survived so long in a gualag, why Turig was soooo shy around women, what made Shackleton such an indomitable spirit and what Charriere thought of the revolution of the French penal system.

My great grandparents...there'd be 8 of them but I only have photos of 6 of them.
......having spent years on my family tree, I sort of feel I know them a bit already!
Just think of all the questions I could ask!

Sounds immense! Like all of them myself... although I don't know your mum!

I keep thinking of Joachim Loew (Germany manager), Huey Morgan (Fun Lovin' Criminals singer) and James Martin but I think they would be great for a poker party, drinking Jack and smoking cuban cigars

Dinner party? probably still James Martin, Frankie Boyle, Hairy Bikers, Stephen Fry, and Kylie Minogue
                What would Delia do?

Jeez Loo-eez DC! Don't you think there might be fireworks if you put Hetfield, Mustaine and Newstead in the same room together?! They're not exactly best-buds these days are they? Mind you, leaving Lars out is probably a plan, he's a feisty little... um... man

I can't think of many famous people who I'd want at a dinner party, it's all too formal and scary and wanting to impress people with your culinary skills. Mebbe a brew and a cake? And it would have to be down-to-earth types, or someone I might have something in common with so that it didn't just turn into speechless hero-worship...

                          So, for a brew and some cake;

Most of 6Music's presenters, but especially Huey Morgan, Gid Coe and Lauren Laverne [and not Gary Crowley or Nemone].
                          Dan Radcliffe
                          Terry Walton
                          Steven Fry
Bob Mortimer (but not Vic Reeves; sorry Jim, can't cope with you)

and if we can have dead slebs, then Fred Dibnah would be a must

And we'll throw in Dara O'Brien for good luck.
