I've had mail like this before and logged into paypal to check and nada! No dodgy activity at all.
I've had mails pertaining to be from ebay too asking for login details and such, but I know they are dodgy because I don't even have an ebay account. Use OH's but use my own paypal to pay for whatever I have.

I had an email like this the other day...similar anyway...BUT

just before that email i had 2 emails saying payment for £29.99 to someone, then an email saying £35 funds for me.

I didnt use the link in the email as i was suspicious so i phoned paypal.

It turned out someone had used my account
They knew the 2 items bought came from another computer and not my IP address.

      Thankfully they sorted it out.

Dont know how anyone got my details, i dont tell them to anyone.
I refunded the £35 to the person that sent it as i didnt know the person and wasnt expecting any funds.

The person who had got into my account put on several alternative addresses on my personal details....they didnt change the address as such , just the name...which was a load of letters.

I am glad paypal have sorted it out though.

I have since recieved 2 emails from paypal...but some sorta thing..instead of .co.uk....there was something else...some survey thing.
I have not responded nor even opened the emails.
The person that got into my account probably has my email address now.

I reset my password and security questions and changed some of my details, so hopefully they wont get back in.

It does make me worry about hackers being able to get my personal details

Hope none of you get hacked into to.

      Stay safe

Any email from anyone saying 'click here' to log in/access your account etc etc can be a scam/spam.

If you have any worries - don't use the link to click in - close the email down and log in from your usual link.

You can hold your mouse over the link that they supply and it should show somewhere on your computer screen the address of that link........usually it doesn't actually match the website address of that particular company - so don't click it!

If you do and you use your log in - then the scam artists can use that to log into your real account.

If you do get scammed; then use your ISP provider to give yourself another - different - email address and use that instead.

The first line gave it away as a scam. Pay Pal always use your name.

I never thought about that, thanks for pointing out.

The email was sent as "Notification of Limited Account Access" and I must admit it confused me-first thing that came to mind was that somebody has hacked my account(it happend to my friend)as I use ebay maybe twice a year.
I get hardly any scam on my laptop-this one managed to come through

Agree........If they do not contact me by my user name then it gets deleted. That goes for ANY mail.
