Sorry I broached on the subject.

Went to a very popular local pub last Tuesday and they already had "book now for Xmas" leaflets on the table!

There always seems to be this horrible rush to live out of season, also pity the poor kids who if they'd gone shopping a couple of weeks ago would have seen the Back to School displays already in shop windows before they'd acutally broken up. Nothing wrong with being organised but I fail to understand why people can't enjoy the moment, it's July for goodness sake, won't start Christmas stuff until Advent.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

They are purposely doing Christmas in July... can't understand it myself. I won't be watching any of them.

A few weeks ago there was a feature on pretend news (GMTV), and I'm sure it was on Sky as well, about what the must have toys are going to be... I thought that if a child wants something now, surely it will have changed by December. I certainly didn't know in July what I wanted for Christmas.

When my children were school age, i wanted to get them sandals at the start of the summer holiday, not doing them any more, we stopped the summer stuff last week!
I wanted to get them when the kids needed them, so they would be the right size!!!!
