Just wondered if there is any one here who has done this course. Our local college is offering it as a part-time evening course and I'm debating whether to cough up my hard-earned cash to pay for it.

I did the 5 module one this year just gone. It helped me but then I am now using it at work.....I did it to learn more but I found I knew quite a bit anyway.

I would have enjoyed it more had I not started working silly hours halfway through!

I think I still have lots to learn about propogation, seed saving etc (In fact everything).., so even if I can't use it to get a job it would still be of value. It's just the expense of it that makes me a bit nervous.
Apparantly its connected to the RHS and you can take their exams as well.

Don't get those.........thought we might when OH got redundant but we are now caught in that trap of not enough to have but enough not to be given anything.

I did the five module when I was made redundant - just had to pay £25 for the exams.
If you are into plants (shrubs and flowers) as apposed to Veg then RHS level 2 is very good.
