How about the best of news (well, for me anyrate!) Went to the hospital with my wife on Tuesday. She has been discharged as being clear of cancer. What can I possibly say.

Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

That's fantastic news Zeb, the best! All good wishes to you both.
I took Mother out in a wheelchair yesterday and for the first time in a few years she did a big shop! At T***o. It was me pushing her, her pushing the wheelchair trolley!

I do love reading happy news Hooray for everyone but your post brought a tear to my eye Zebedee - just fabulous! (hugs)
My happy news is that I have finally found a man who has more fairy lights and kitchen paraphenalia than I do (no mean feat ).
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
No happy news for me, but thats not a worry as Zeb's happy news is more than enough.
Fantastic news Zebedee, cant imagine how happy your household must be right now.

Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.
Wonderful news Zebadee, you and your wife must be over the moon.
Its true what they say, if you don't have your health you have nothing.
God bless you both.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
It was our wedding anniversary today and had an extremely naughty cake from Waitrose as a treat, de - li - cious. Also have just ordered my new conservatory, yipee!!!
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown
Great news, Zebedee, good wishes to you and your wife.
My good news is I made tomato chutney yesterday and pickled some radishes today (don't even know if they're suitable for pickling but there were too many to eat in salad).
Also, great idea to start this thread, Jax, It's a cheering-up exercise, reading it!
