Last Friday I completed my first WK1 of C25K - Saturday I went shopping* and bought 'stuff', like shorts, karimoor, socks, HRM, etc etc - BUT I couldn't even walk on Sunday, my back is still in a very stiff locked kinda way.
I have had back issues in the past
but they appeared to be long gone
It is stiff and feels like a lot of inflammation going on.
Question 1 - is this possibly due to running? I was running around a field which had uneven surfaces, which caused me to slip at one point - probably wasn't a great idea!
Question 2 - does anyone else cope with running whilst managing a back issue?
The irony of all this - remember the patio I dug up and all the slabs and bags of sand that I humped, without so much as a twinge
I may have to stick to cross-trainer, so please someone tell me they run with a back issue!
*I hate hate hate shopping but enjoyed buying stuff for my next run, which hasn't yet happened
*sulks
