Our heating IS on! I've been wet 3 times this afternoon, had to keep swapping coats at the allotment, while the other one was hanging over the stove in the shed drying out. Feeling proper shivery now, and it's bleedin' rainin' again

We have water dripping through the ceiling again. But it's certainly not cold. I'm still in a Polo shirt, and Mr. G. er, well, he's in the bath! LOL

Sunny day here today as well. Some clouds and a bit windy but not a sign of rain.
lovely day yesterday and got a full line of clothes dry in a few hours.
No doubt the rain will reach us eventually.
not even thinking of putting on the heating yet.

Heating is on in this house, we were both freezing so decided not to suffer. It would be better if I could just light the gas fire in the lounge, but since himself has put a big screen on that wall, I can't light the fire because he tells me the heat would be too much for the screen!

heating here is either a calor gas fire, or a convector heater, so they're not going on till the beginning of november at the earliest....

We've been sat in a tent on the beach for last 2 days. Day one we had hail, thunder & lightning, day two was heavy rain, thunder & lightning.

We walked home in it last night: 3 hours trudging along pitch black country lanes pushing our bikes with all the camping gear on the back.

I haven't actually succumbed - but by heck it was a close thing last night! Apparently it is going to warm up considerably by the end of the month - yaay, hope so!

Oh yes! Spent last night snuggled up in my pjs and new long, fluffy leopard print dressing gown, inside my sleeping bag! At least its not raining at the moment.

No fires/heating anything on here & I don't usually put any heat on until around October but O.H. said he thought it was a bit cold last night & was sulking because he said 'it's August, it's supposed to be summer!'. Sun has been shining today but there is a cold wind as well, can't have everything I suppose!
