I picked up a JML one from Makro. Absolutely brill!!!
Have packed cheese, bacon, meat, veg, more veg and lots more veg!
It's a shame the bags are plastic but they could be used again in you fancied washing them up and trimming them a little smaller every time

Yeah, I use the same method, but just make a hole in the ziplock zip and suck....

If the bag is truly waterproof, the surest way to get the air out is submerge the whole thing (apart from the bit you haven't sealed yet) in a basin/sink of cold water.
Gets more air out than you can with a straw, and if it is a ziplock type, you can do up the seal while the bag is still in the water.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment
