The video link has now been taken off FB as the woman has been identified and the police and RSPCA are dealing with it. She's not been arrested as the police say it is not a criminal offence but I'm sure the RSPCA can still prosecute. There would be an outcry if they didn't. She also has police protection to stop anyone from taking matters into their own hands and I sincerely hope that nobody does as it's up to the authorities to deal with.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

Apparently the woman who is 45 & should have more sense said she did it for a joke as she thought it was funny & why is everyone over-reacting as it's only a cat! There are some strange people in this world! I think maybe the RSPCA won't end up prosecuting her as it costs then so much to take a case to court & the poor little cat is O.K.Into every life a little rain must fall.

I think there may be more watching her than the police feel comfortable with!
Quote from Yahoo this morning.
West Midlands Police said Ms Bale had not committed a criminal offence. A spokesman said: "The RSPCA is leading an investigation into the incident and will be interviewing the woman shortly. Coventry police are supporting the society's investigation and would urge the public to leave the matter to be dealt with in the appropriate manner by the authorities. Coventry police have not arrested the woman because she has not committed a criminal offence."
The force said the woman was not being given police protection and community support officers were outside her address monitoring a large group of people for "public order purposes as per routine police procedure".Last edited by Jeanied; 25-08-2010, 11:49 AM.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Reckon they should chuck her in a wheelie bin she can't get out of and leave the cat to make up it's mind whether or not she should be found
