I don't know any friendly farmers, but maybe we could block-book a camp site?

You could block book my front garden, its about a hectare, so I'm sure I could squeeze you all in.
Get those passport application forms filled in ladies and gentlemen.

I'll be sat here in the 'Who's Left Behind' thread Just looked at cost of renewing passports and it'd be nigh on 250, and then there'd be the fuel and the ferry etc. Plus kennels for the dog.

Maybe we could have a Vinstock chez Boble????? - say end of May BH....that'd be fun!!!...might even get some sunshine

It is very expensive crossing the Channel isn't it?

We nip over a few times a year with the trailer and top box- plus nosh for the families- then buy up British nosh you can't get here...there's seldom much left out of 1,000 each trip

No way can I afford to go abroad. Plus passport has run out. I could manage Norfolk though.

Ooooow I could quiz me Ma n Pa cos they're camping / caravan stewards n often book block field space. Last year they had the back 'field' at a campsite in Scratby nr Great Yarmouth. The beach was sandy, the campsite had leccy, water, shop n laundry & i think it was reasonable priced s well. Mum n Dad wouldn't have gone otherwise.

                          Lemme know if your interested.

I don't want to dampen anyones spirits & it maybe a little late in the day but if you are travelling today, be aware of the Leeds Festival plus the usual Bank Holiday traffic......Drive safely.
