I've sat here and tried to type several ways of expressing how I feel and what wisdom, advice, condolences I can inpart......

needless to say, the words I typed seemed unfitting and innadequate.

Take comfort in having had someone so giving and kind in your life such as Supersprout.

        Will,
I too was not fortunate enough to have known your Mum but have read many of her posts here on the Vine.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this time, my deepest condolences.

Well, having only just joined this forum recently, I am quite sad reading these posts and realising that I have missed knowing a wonderful person. I can only hope that I am as well thought of by my family and friends as Sarah obviously was on this forum.

I extend my prayers and thoughts to you Will at this sad time. Also to all the grapes on here who are grieving for a lost friend.

            Wll,

After 2 days I still can't take it in. There is so much I would love to say but I just don't have the words. So please don't take my silence as anything more than inadiquacy.

SS will be sorely missed by us all and I would be really proud if I got half the praise that has been expressed in this thread.

You should feel really proud of you mum , few people are so warmly loved by so many people who they have never met but still aren't strangers.

God bless to you and the rest of you family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss Will, your mother gave me brilliant advice and helped me to start my own vegetable patch and encourage my friends to do it too.

I'd just like to add to the messages of remembrance and support on this thread. Like others I've missed knowing a wonderful lady, I valued her advice, encouragement and inspiration.

                    • I consider myself lucky to have met the lovely SuperSprout, just once. I was touched by her kindness. She lived near my mum and I was due to go across at Easter hoping to meet her so I could give her some Cherokee Trail of Tears that she wanted to grow this year. I forgot before Christmas and was hoping to see her then wrapping up the beans in a little pot but still didn't have chance to give it to her.
