LOL, that just reminded me..........
When our neighbours decided to renew their vows they asked OH to give a little speech . He rounded off the speech with an ancient (so he said ) welsh poem that had been handed down and tradition was that the youngest family member had to read the translation after. As it happens one of the guests was welsh and spoke it so OH was nervous but he said that he'd done ok. Not bad for a few lines I got translated on t'internet and then found a site that did it phonetically for him to learn...........oh and the verse ( that my youngest read with her best dramatic abilities and a very straight face) was .....
Neighbours, everbody has good neighbours etc etc.......
once it started to sink in everybody was in fits
