bummer. I heard the frost warnings on the wireless, along with reports of a BBQ autumn

      Good grief

I had noticed the min temp in our garden was 1C two nights ago- but it couldn't have been for long enough for a frost to form cos all the plants look OK

Oh heck, I thought it was cold here last night & the night before because it went down to about 9 degrees C, no sign of frost yet though although there is a bit of an autumnal feel in the air first thing!

it's felt like a frost is coming any time here for about a week .... although not good for growing, it usually means the days will hopefully be sunnier

We had quite a cold start today, no frost but by 9am the sun was warming quite nicely and now it's gloriously hot and has been all day. So hot in fact that my 3yr is ouside in next to nothing playing 'baths' with her dollies and her little plastic dolls bath

I shut the greenhouse last night for the first time since June.
