I have flown to France for much, much less than that. If you go with one of the budget airlines and shop carefully, you can do it for about £30.

That's what I thought until I spent well over an hour looking at all options. From Leeds or Manchester you also have to change at Amsterdam which I failed to mention. If you find cheaper flights please feel free to post. The prices I quoted are for May'11.

Have just randomly put some dates into Ryanair for flying EMA - Nantes return, £43, £12, etc. They don't seem to let you book very far in advance so I can't quote prices for next year but I would imagine they will be similar.

Likewise from Leeds/Bradford they are coming in @ £10 but not for next May. Maybe bank holiday has something to do with it.

Further to my previous post about Palace Farm in Kent they would take a booking but not over a weekend, so that is out. No one sounded interested in it anyway, so I don't think it matters.

have just googled CAMPSITES WITH RALLY FIELDS, its worth a look, lots of ideas and places, the forest one's offer variouse discounts,as in £2 for a solo camper, over 55's,and children, prices depend on what site you choose, and when,is well worth a look at,so many to choose from,
if one or two area/county be chosen, then perhaps it will narrow things down a bit,am sure something can be found,
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

A thought for Raisinstock, people bringing dogs from UK will have to sort out a vet, the day BEFORE their return journey......
I am sure that Dogs Away can find a vet with the right certificates etc in the right area, but we are talking about a WEEKEND, so would there be a problem finding a vet available, or would dog-owners need to do the return on the Tuesday????
I can look into rules about minibus hire, if anyone is still interested. I'm sure that 'cost sharing' wouldn't disqualify it from being hirable.
