    It's sooooooo quiet

Well actually, right now it's not...it's noisier than the holidays as it's lunchtime and they all seem to congregate around our back fence.
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

Eldest wentback yesterday year 4. He was a bit shocked that they had to work all day! He has the same teacher as last year and we're pleased about that. My youngest starts full days on monday. Not sure how that one will go!!!

OH started back at college (teaches maths and physics) 2 weeks ago before BH!! None of that time was allocated for preperation so he will have to do that in the evenings after work and at the weekend. It will be like this until june next year until he gets some respite and has no marking/prep in the evenings or weekends.

As for me well am gonna be at home til christmas jus to make sure the youngest settles ok, but then I really need to look for work. Been a long time and Ive lost a lot of confidence over the years. Not sure where to start, as ever I know what I dont want to do!!!!

Daughter came home yesterday and yep she got told off for her skirt being too short, I met her in town after school and we saw some of her friends, uhhhh their skirts are shorter, much shorter but they didnt get told off.
She looks realyy tired this morning, at least she can have a lie in tomorrow.
Hope everyone is coping with the peace and quiet, I got loads of junk chucked out yesterday and been to the lottie today, they are sooo negleted.

Well my dd1 goes back NEXT Tuesday as a year 2 and she can't wait as she has missed her friends and finds playing with her little sister trying a lot of the time .

My nearly 4yr old goes back (preschool/nursery) next Wednesday but only for half a day. She starts full days (9.15 to 3.15) the following Monday and Tuesday which will be new for her as, last year she came home for lunch . I can't help but be a little worried because 6 weeks is a long time to be away from 'school' and last year she found it very difficult to settle in.

I just hope that the excitement of taking a packed lunch, the thought of seeing all her little friends again and the fact that on those 2 days the preschool is held at dd1s school, will pave the way, so to speak .

Bugger, forgotten the little darlings were all going to be being driven to and from school again next week so it'll take me at least twice if not three times as long to get to and from work

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Mine start years 8, 6, 4 and 1 next week. It will be quiet without them but I'm rather looking forward to a bit of 'me' time!

And we walk to school, so no Chelsea Tractors here
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
