It was BBC2 at 8PM tonight (Thursday). That was part 2 of 3. Probably available on iPlayer.
It was interesting, and now we know Two Sheds isn't the only one with two shedsThere are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

i thought it was great! i usually stear clear from as many of the E numbers as possible, but maybe not such a good idea! lol.
i was more disturbed that he was carrying a dead pig around on his shoulder whilst wearing his rather nice leather jacket!

Wasn't human urine collected esp for the tanning processing of leather???
...and added to water to tighten up the weave in fabric production???

It was. People threw the contents of their night pots into the tanner's vat but that's my point - it was collected. I don't suppose many people stood outside the shop peeing into the barrel. On second thoughts, maybe in medieval times they did.Last edited by Sanjo; 03-09-2010, 12:15 PM.
