How many varieties did you have Lozza - can you post pictures?
We've had high winds here (and no, BW has not been on the beans!) As far as I know things are fairly well battened down, but will get down to the lottie tomorrow and check it over.
Hi Lozza - sorry to hear about your seed tattie problem.
Madderbat and LJ have the solution - if you can tell us what varieties you were chitting, or better still post a pictures of one of each type that you found on the floor along with the names of the varieties, all may not be lost - we should be able to help you sort them out - such is the power of the 'Vine
Goodness, sorry to hear everyone's misfortunes. The only seedlings I have up have their names written in CD marker on their pots. Mind you I think even I could tell the difference between a tomato and a pepper seedling
Lost my plastic tent cloche as well, had to retrieve it from two alloments away and all the stalks have snapped on my new rhubarb crown. Blinking weather!
My mini greenhouse that I put in the garden tues got blown over yesterday taking with it 2 trays of young leeks, several pots/modules of just sown seeds, my strawberry seedlings and a few other bits.
I swore lots and then got on with picking it all up. Rescued more than I thought I would, which is nice, and have spread out the swept up compost in trays, given it a watering and will wait and see if anything comes up.
Going on from NOG's idea, if I get any plants that way, i could play guess the seedling.
I'm really sorry to read of the mishaps of the recent winds, I was in my Grown-Up-Girls Greenhouse yesterday potting on a few seedlings, and I was more than terrified of being in there at all on more than a few occasions - the whole things seemed to move in the wind, and the thought of glass off a 16ft x 8ft tumbling down on top of me was too much, so I retired to safer quarters.
It would be great to be able to sort out the various mixed up varieties, and I'm certainly willing to contribute.
One f the guys on our site bought a new greenhouse & had toughened glass It looked brill then he put his new shed up to help shelter it from the wind - excellent Idea - trotble was the wind blew the shed over & smashed two pane 4ft x 2ft!!
He's not best pleased as you can imagine

I've got a Norfolk Greenhouse 8 x 6 which seems to have taken to wandering round the garden in the high winds. Number 1 son was going to anchor it to the concrete base for me, but hasn't. Fortunately no major damage. I also have a couple of the QD mini three shelf greenhouses with plastic covers. I've had major problems with these moving, and now put a couple of heavy bricks on the bottom shelf. This seems to have worked.
