What about the 'two fat ladies'?
Here here Claire, a sensible comment at last.

Jealousy from a load of moaning minnies. No man I know wants to chew on bone and if a woman with a real figure, not one made of pelvic bones and string gets air time then bravo and one in the eye for those who whine. Its about time people saw someone who is not airbrushed and does actually enjoy food on television. Her food is simple and easy to prepare, just the sort of fare most of us with real lives get time to cook most of the time. Of course those of you with time to be michelin stared mums will turn up your noses at her, but then in reality I suspect most of your food comes out of a M&S finest range box because your to busy trying to be perfect to find time to actually cook,

I always liked watching Nigella on the box but saw this latest programme and wont bother again. From a cooking point of view she seemed to be getting stuff out of packets and bags and just mixing it together (chicken stock in a bag - yuk!), not proper cooking.
From a personal viewpoint she seems to have been eating too much of her revolting creations (chocolate peanut cheesecake) and is stacking on the pounds, which clothes (cooking in a coat?) and the cameras were struggling to disguise.

I have to admit when I use her recipes I always get huge approval! I have orders even! (As in, people have asked for things and said 'I'll pay you!')

I think Nigella is absolutely gorgeous and although I do like some of her cooking, most of it isn't my thing and you couldn't live on the stuff.
She is gorgeous though, crikey, I'm so sick of skinny dumb broads on TV. I'm with PW ^ I don't want to be chewing on no bones

'Scuse me young man! I am well proportioned and don't buy my food from M&S but I still reserve the right not to like the pouting style of a TV cook!

Hear hear - not knocking what she looks like (not asked OH but he may well fancy her visually) but don't like her programmes

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've only ever seen clips, but those, and the book title, were enough to put me off (and OH doesn't like watching cookery programs anyway).

There are at least two other things about her that are much more gorgeous and unforgettable!

Oh, except for Gary Rhodes - he needs a slap!
Totally agree with you! I like most of her recipes and would try them, but as with all tv chefs you're never going to like every single thing that they make... even the lovely James has made a few things which I didn't like the look of, and I like everything about him

Anyway, I digress, OH likes Nigella too... for different reasons to me though.

As a man, I do care about her Bosoms, as much as I am allowed to of course.
Anyway, isn't it one Bosom? I'm not really sure, I'm only educated up to a doctorate in women's chest studies.

Indeed mum I stand corrected, but then your sensible enough not to watch it, whereas others just whinge and moan. Dead simple, don't watch it if you don't like it.
