Thanks for all the kind words, and wishes folks.

I officially hit my mid-30's and decided to just chill. We were going to go to the zoo, but it got rained off. Then we were going to go to a local "theme park" ( Gulliver's Theme Parks Milton Keynes ), but by the time we were all up and sorted, it was a bit late...

We ended up baking some biccies (well, I did, whilst LW made some choco crispies with Bean), and then just hung about the house. LW's bro and OH (due to deliver Bean's cousin any day now) came over for a Chinese and we watched a bit of a fillum.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at a friends whose Mother was throwing a surprise party as they had just got engaged - lovely weather. Then came home and once Bean was in bed we had cheese on toast.

It's important to keep it real I think.

Got a lovely gift from Bean - it's a book that I fill in with bits about my life that I eventually give back to him. Brilliant! Dear Dad, from you to me ( journal ): Amazon.co.uk: Neil Coxon, from you to me ltd: Books We all have a book in us...

Also got some rather tasty cupcakes from LW - but I think they were partly for her - but she deserves it.

All in all, not a bad birthday (providing you don't watch the news, or programmes/films/documentaries that they show on this day each year now).

            Thanks again.

            Thanks again.

NOW I remember whose birthday FB told me about and I didn't visit the right page on the day!!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
