  • Slight accident with a shed...

One of our sheds died last weekend

It had been leaking for a while, and when I went in to get something, everything was soaking wet, and there were mushrooms/toadstools growing on the carpet on the floor.

On closer inspection by Mr OWG, the rain we've had in the past few months has damaged an already dodgy shed to the point that the water actually seeps through the wood.

With everything inside damaged, it was time to put the shed to bed...

    The shed

    Partly dismantled

After pushing it over (with my help) Mr OWG poses for some photos

    Continued...

    Taking the roof apart

    Flat!

Flatter (note my wheelbarrow full of timber!). The whole time Mr OWG was demolishing, I was carting the timber etc away to our bonfire...

And just as it was going dark...

Finished! Now we just have to get a new shed!!

      Where's the bonfire?

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

In our field (at the bottom of the garden), although it's not been lit yet, as it's too wet and windy where we are on the coast at the moment

Probably not, as we'll be ploughing the field up shortly to make space for chickens more lawn and more veg beds

Thought we might save it for when the clocks go forwards

Very tempted to put the MIL on it!!!

At least ash may be useful.

Oh well, a nice new shed coming your way OWG.
How did you manage to put so many pics on ? I thought it was limited to 4.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

The photos are on separate posts Alice. Although I know Ben would appreciate it if members resized their photos following his instructions in the Fruit And Vegetable Showcase.
