No Alison we have looked as she has an unusual Surname there isnt many but we are confused as sometimes she called herself by a different surname and not under either. On mum's birth certificate it say's mum was born in Holborn ( 1912 ) but its after that we are really trying to find out, where did they live when one of the boys started the fire ( 1917 ). More about where she was in care and where she was living up until she went into service and also where she was living when she joined the wrens. She sort of talked about area's she lived and when in London a few years ago a cousin drove me and my sister to places we heard mum talk about. It might be something we will never know as not many people still alive that knew mum at that age.
