Finally got my Mojo!

If I needed any reassurance that it's not cruel using a crate...I just got it!
First time I've hoovered since he's been home...he legged it to the security of his crate!
Not sure if it's right or not but I've just ignored him... guess if he gets a fuss made it reinforces that hoovers are scarey?.....he won't have to put up with it often anyway

My daughters puppy sleeps in a crate out of choice ...10pm he heads off from snoozing infront of the fire to snuggle into his crate for the night!

Think it's because it must be draught proof and snuggly warm.

A crate is only cruel if it is used to pen the animal in unnecessarily. When used as a bed or den for the animal to feel secure in, and it can use it through choice, it is fine. Better that than having your furniture invaded against your will.

(As a kid, I had to sit on the floor to watch TV, as the Dogs had the sofa!)

Sorry,,,just need a proud Mummy moment!
Not only has he whined to go outside for a wee once already today but he just woke up from a long doze...I panicked cos I was in the kitchen washing ther floor when I heard movement...couldn't find him inside cos he was outside doing his wee!
I'm sure I've still got to expect a few accidents but he seems to have already got the hang of it
