Annoyed with the vets...
They agreed something with me regarding an insurance claim, but this has been convieniently forgotten. The claim form has therefore been filled in differently, and we can't claim the several hundred pounds back; but more annoying is that we can't now claim for any future treatment for this issue - of which there will be some in the future.
It means that if the worst happens and the condition returns/worsens, we will have to seriously consider having Max PTS as a first option, as we can't afford the £700+ for specialist appointments etc, never mind treatment, because the insurance won't cover it
Have made a phone call to the vets to say how annoyed I am, but can't really see what they can do, now the insurance company has declined the claim.

BURGLARS - while me and my family were all having a jolly old time celebrating our engagement - some thieving weasels have smashed into mum's house, glass and mess everywhere and ransacked her house.
MAD doesn't quite cover it right now -- mum is devastated

Why do I feel s**t on?!
Working in the so called "caring profession" I have not taken a single day off sick in 12 months - I'm not a slacker and don't take time off for every single cough, cold or sniffle - unlike some colleagues I have been flexible with shifts, worked overtime when requested and spent the last 6 months on night shift as no-one else was prepared or experienced enough to do so. Then I'm told I have to take annual leave on certain dates (not my requested dates) so that I don't lose it. That's ok as I could do with it 'cos I worked all over Christmas and New Year. We have to follow a set shift pattern which means working every other weekend with days off in the week. That is fine by me because we can at least follow that pattern in order to plan our free time. THEORETICALLY - cos I've discovered that some shifts in March have been changed, meaning that I have been rostered to work on my free days and be free when I should be working. BUT I've already made plans. When explaining the problem the Supervisor simply shrugged his shoulders and said "well we need staff so you will have to accept it and I'll have left for my new job by then so it's not my problem".
These plans were not easy to arrange as it involves my sister making holidays arrangements to come and stay on these dates.
Feel so let down and thinking why did I bother and why should I in future

Can't you contact the next level up from your supervisor?
NOT apologising for responding, it isn't 'chat' it is moral support!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
