GP Receptionists.

I used to defend them, but not any more: they always mishear my name so I have to repeat it several times, they still can't find me in their "system". I started writing it down and they took that funny too. Last time they couldn't find my prescription, she asked if my name was double barrelled and I said 'not really, no'. She then told me yes it was !

Is this a all schools thing or just your school? Need to look into this as am hoping to start growing at school in Spring!!

DH has been told his services will no longer be required, as he's not pulling his weight, when in fact his employer has nothing for him to do, because they employed him for a specific contract, which they never got....

I was made redundant when my Boss' best mate came in with an open chequebook and 'bought' my job! So I know how it feels to be shafted. Hope he can find something soon! Fingers crossed for you both.

So-called Friends round our village, who claim to care about me and only want to know I am ok (after last week's trauma) but actually only want me to tell them all the gory details so they can go tell everyone else round the village too.

Oh and while I am on the subject, 4 of my neighbours who all get free eggs from me curtain twitching when the police were here last week, but NONE of them coming to see if I was ok or needed assistance knowing FULL WELL I had my 2 children in the house.

Why, oh why, oh why, oh why do I always leave it to the last minute before sorting what I'm going to wear to go out. I had it all worked out in my head, as early as yesterday lunch time. Just went to get everything out, and I can't find my white blouse. Drawers, wardrobe, cupboard, laundry - nowhere to be found. I even went out and looked in the Caravan! The daft thing is, I can't remember where or when I wore it last!
