Brothers who lose their Christmas pressies for me - even though I helped him find each one(at his request) - nothing over £5. That applies to pressie no 1 bought in November and lost. Then pressie no 2 (substitute) bought last week.
Och well, he found the pressie I insisted he buy for our sister and she likes it!!! (I know her taste!)
And we all have been under a lot of stress recently.
Sorry folks this isn't a rant at all, just a reflection on how sad Christmas can be as well as touching.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Actually, I have another one. Himself saying "Ows thar managed that when wiv gorrall this stuff in?" when told I had spent over £50 on line for this weeks' shopping. It's not so much what is said, it is the way it is expressed and it is particularly insulting in a Yorkshire accent.Granny on the Game in Sheffield

No rants at all, I'm feeling very chilled out, I've had a lovely day, my online support group has sorted me out (you Grapes) and my 2 nephews are here sorting out the food-overstock problem for meAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Having prepped for Christmas and being with family - and having eldest son laid up with a horrible sick bug which he still has and therefore not being the lightest bit interested in any of his lovely new things and OH who has been a right royal pain in the arris since xmas eve as he's got another chest infection. So I took littlest to mums for boxing day where they were droping like flies and mum ended up with 12 instead of 18 so had LOADS of food left over and nobody felt like having any fun.
My nephew (4) waiting for the doctor today as he can't walk suddenly?! Not heard yet how he is or what that is all about.
Can we move xmas to the summer when we are all well please

and carrying on my rant - OH's parents who are so old and doddery and can't live on theoir own anymore but won't have it that there is anythign wrong. Neither of them have slept upstairs for over a year as they can't get up them and are sleeping in an armchair downstairs with no wash facilities etc... His dad can't hear and can't walk.
And them not letting me know til an hour before lunch on xmas day that they weren't coming as she had had an ambulance the night before with a severe angina attack - they didn't let us know she was even ill! They wanted to take her into hospital and she refused, then she drives over here today with her flaming oxygen tank next to her..... she's not safe I tell you!
I am sick to the back teeth of them and have now told them they are going to move nearer to us next year like it nor not.
