I have a party in two weeks time, Halloween theme - what the heck can I go as?

I thought of sticking a broom head on my bum and a broom handle stuck to my head and going as a witch's broom...

....I could get to say 'if you stick a broom up me 'arris I'll sweep the floor' at the same time'

Any ideas?

I have gone to Halloween events as a black cat. Hood with ears (home made), collar with bell (I made a 'cat bell' and attached it to a nylon dog collar) black sweatshirt-and-jogging-trews, tail (rolled up piece of black fur-fabric) pinned on to seat to trews.
It works, and unlike a lot of other options it doesn't restrict movement much!

Lastyear I made my 8 year old a spider costume

1. get an old balck hooded sweatshirt from a charity shop
2. Buy some kids balck wooley tights
3.Cut legs off tights and stuff with wadding and attach to sweatshirt as legs
4. Attach the tights with light coloured twine, so that when you move your arms all the legs move too
5. Have string oof the ends as web
6. SSSShhhhh dont tell jack but you can use the croch of the tights to make a beany hat tied with a knot on top
7. Decorate your face and get false fangs


Voila, acheap easy halloween spider (Im no good at making stuf either! Unfortunately he didnt win the school disco prize, a girl in a pumkin costume from tescoes won......not that Im bitter or anything!)
