    It's good that you're getting help for the 'problem' as a whole Jax because it's been a part of your life & make-up for years too & will be difficult for both of you. You'll just have to try & set aside some time to be alone in a separate room when you feel angry & frustrated, try putting on some headphones with music or a talking book or something so that you can at least escape in your own head for a break. I think the baking idea is great too, relaxing & you get something tasty at the end as well! Good luck.

      something you could try at home is transcendental meditation. i used to do it years ago, courtesy of a book and some cassette tapes ( but unfortuneately i can't remember the name of the author- but i am sure a search on amozon would find it) it is learning how to breathe in a special way, and switch off, just for a couple of minutes. it truly does revitalize, and de-stress you, in just a very few minutes.
