I just started typing something that sounded totally sanctimonious about being judged by films, but what I should say is:
Who cares as long as you're happy with you and the way you have lead life so far.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Until a few months ago I had never been in an Ikea... even then I went in the exit, straight to the tills to buy a gift voucher for someone then left again. I don't think that's strange at all but other people do.
I have never watched an episode of Sex And The City, or seen the films... most, if not all of my female friends think that is weird. I just never started watching it, so didn't see what all the fuss was about.pjh75

I have never watched a film or televised version of Pride and Prejudice. I don't care how fantastic Colin Firth is supposed to be as Darcy, or how well Keira Knightley portrays Elizabeth - I've had a vision of those characters in my head since I was 13 or so, and I'm not prepared to obliterate them with someone else's vision

I have never seen any of the current horror film genres - all blood and gore types, with no plot so tp speak and which follow the same formula as each other - (Saw etc) not my cup of tea. (Hammer Horror, Wicker Man, or true Japanese horror etc are more my cuppa)
I tend not to watch American films - although do go and see Disney with my little girl, cos she loves it.
I was forced to read Pride and Prejudice and Persausion at school - less said the better.
On the more serious subject of things I have not done - I have not done much travelling abroad, but thats more for finantial reasons, and I dont travel very well.

Oh dear, there are some there on my 'never done' list as well, never watched most of the oh-so-popular soaps (not willing to risk ending up fretting about missing any), or most of the 'elimination' things (Big Brother being the archetype, isn't it?) I did watch some of the celebrity achievement ones (Fools on Horses, the doggy one, Maestro), because what they were doing interested me, and it raised money for charity (not sure about Maestro, but I think so), otherwise, just not my thing.
We are all different, fortunately!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I've never:
Owned a car or passed the driving test (and at 59, I'm not going to start now);
Owned a digital telly (must get a set-top box);
Flown;
Owned my own house (I'm a council tenant);
Had a daughter (two sons);
Had a cousin (two aunts and an uncle as blood-relations, and one aunt and the uncle married, but nary a sprog between them);
Been to a rock festival;
Seen 'Gone With the Wind', or quite a lot of other famous films;
Done lots of other things.

You arent alone, but we are all different, 'swhy we're all so interesting.
I've never seen any of the films mentioned, classic, Bond or other, never watched a minute of Big Brother or any other reality TV type programme.
Never watched a soap episode, never watched a gardening programme either.
However I've done loads of things that interest me, so I'm happy.Bob Leponge
