Deffo! No offence to Beatle lovers, I don't turn them off when they come on the radio, they're not that bad, they just don't do it for me. Sorry!

I managed to see the Beatles two night's running at our local "dance hall" in the 60's for a pittance. I remember there was a big row because they had already been booked and then suddenly they were famous. Of course they wanted more money for the gigs and the dance hall owners said no. I was on the front row of the stage, and I could have touched any one of them (except Ringo who was at the back behind the drums). I liked Ringo best, but I was really a Rolling Stones fan ( and still prefer them).

TBH I think they were greatly overated & have never brought any of thier records, however if it were a competition for best intro ever it would be between them doing Revolution & ELO doing Roll over Beethoven

I'm Beatles era too, like Flummery - the 60s was the decade I hit puberty in. My favourite always has been and always will be 'Yesterday', though of course there are oodles of brilliant songs by them to choose from. Lennon would have been 70 today!

I found that by singing 'Hey Jude' to myself for a while, I got rid of the other song, without getting HJ stuck on my brain in its place. Nowadays I use Abba's 'Dancing Queen' for the same purpose.

Too many to choose from, but I suppose "All You Need is Love" and "Let it Be" are high on the list, but then there is "Across the Universe" and I have a particular memory with "Penny Lane", connected with O level Music lessons (long story), and... and.. and........

I was a Rolling Stone fan myself- the Beatles didn't really do it for me- I guess Hey Jude was ok.

My dad used to play their music soooo loud as i walked home from school with my friends with all the windows open and i was so embarrassed (i was 15, it was in the 80's) but how that changed.
It has to be she's leaving home and let it be

Saw the Beatles when they came to Dublin in the early 60's. I thought they were just great. There is too many favourites to name just one but "She's leaving home" has to be one of my many favourites. I also think "You've got to hide your love away" is another great number.

I love the Beatles, but if I had to choose: 'Blackbird' because it reminds me of the last few weeks of my degree course, and 'And I love her' is our (me and MrPB's) song.

Big Beatles fan here, my sister is older than me and was a teenager in the 60's, so I heard all her records from being a wee one. I had Rubber Soul playing in the car the other day, and I was in tears when 'Michelle' came on, such a lovely sweet song.

For me it'd be easier to say fave ALBUM, rather than song - Abbey Road for me.

Mine's probably 'Revolver', the first of their more sophisticated, reflective albums, after their youthful "Yeah yeah yeah" phase.

                                I don't own a single Beatles song.

I can hum along to them, and know a few choruses, but a fave? Nope, sorry.
