    ha ha ha!!!!

    ....when the peeps were moving out of this house they found a hoard of hazelnuts in the base of one of their beds!!!

      If you need to wash it yourself, gravel is easier to get really clean than sand (and may be easier to dry as well). Do you have pebbly beaches near you (small pebble type)? That would probably work exceptionally well once washed, and only cost the effort involved in finding, transporting and washing it. The other advantage is that you wouldn't need such a tight weave of fabric (or plastic) to keep it inside the case.
      Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

        That's a brill idea!

        don't know of any pebbly beaches- bit will certainly look out!

        I have managed to get some playsand- 25kg for 7.50E...so that'll be good for now!

        But thanks! ...another excuse to have spare bags in the boot of the car when we go to the seaside!!! ( seaweed being the other reason!)
