That just makes it worse. When we lost our Dog, last year, the Cat kept going out to look for him.

Big ((((HUGS)))) to you both, she'll be fine, I'm sure.

Hope you get her back really soon - and I'm sure all will be well. They do miss each other, don't they?

Just seen this Piskie, hope it's all gone well, poor Cass, she'll be running around & battering her sister again soon though once it's all cleaned out, lots of hugs from me (& Amy) to them both!

When do you expect her back, Piskie?
            Caro

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day

Like Sue. A, I've only just seen this Cass's plight.

Jinny had a very similar injury a few years ago, it turned out to be an infection he'd picked up through a small scratch on his paw from fighting which caused an abscess. The vets were great, they cleaned all the bad out, gave him an antibiotic injection plus sum tablets and he's been fine ever since. He still hasn't learnt not to fight ...but that's cats for ya

She'll be as good as new in a few days Piskie and you'll wonder why you were so worried about her. But in the mean time stock up on food cos she'll be famished when she comes home. (((((((((((BIG HUG'S)))))))) from Jinny cat and me for both of you. xxxxx

Not sure, Vet will call me 'sometime' he says - I will probably last until just after lunch before I have to call them!

Oh boy, did she sulk this morning cos she couldn't have food

But I was able to say to her 'look lass, I'm not eating either - in sympathy' ...real reason was I can't do breakfast on first thing rising time

That's a beautiful brace of pussies there.

                        Hope all goes well.

Many years ago one of mine went missing for around a week. He came home jumping over a wall with me descending to tears at his return only to find that he was actually carrying a very nasty injury to his hind leg. In fact so horrid that it actually smelt gamey (sorry to those of the faint hearted pusuasion).

I really thought that his number was up as I took him to the vets. The vet was wonderful, cut away the diseased/damaged tissue and gave him the equivalent of a one-sided tummy tuck with what had top be removed! Jason (the cat) always had what I described as a spongey joint after the accident but he lived well into his 10's.

Sure your littl'n will come out fine. Vets can do increasingly great things as each day passes.

Just seen she's back with you about now. Lots of cuddles all round.

The little darling had a huge bandage taped all the way up her leg - vet said 'come round tomorow and we will remove the dressing'

Cass gets out of carrier box and throws her leg in wild movements, she clearly doesn't like the colour - off flies bandage

I call vet to ask what I should do ....'just pop in tomorrow to settle the bill then' little darling isn't she - Cass I mean, not the vet

Sorry, I'm a bit late to the "party" but I'm really glad to hear that she is OK. Good news indeed x
