Does anyone else feel slightly down on a Monday and then pick up through the day? No reason for me to, nothing is 'wrong' - odd innit

I have always disliked Mondays (and Sunday from around 2.30pm onwards) Since School I think. Things get much better by Tuesday.
I am curious to see if this feeling remains after retirement; but thats a couple of years off at least I think. Unless my organisation 'allows' me redundancy so I can go even earlier.

I don't work Mondays, nor Fridays (although, people in work think I do ) so Tuesday is the Monday for me, but then that's ok because you're near enough half way through the week.
Wednesday is good because you know you're over the hurdle, and Thursday even better knowing it's just one more day.
Fridays - well no comment - as above.

I think it's because weekends just aren't long enough...you look forward to them thinking you'll get a break and a couple of lie ins...in rweality by the time everything that needs to be done is done...the weekends gone and it's back to early starts.(that's the problem for me anyways)the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx
