Shopping should carry a Government Health Warning - I hate it, Snowdrop loves it, I stand outside the shop lurking with the smokers (eewww) whilst he wanders around. Ideally, I stay at home.

When I need to buy stuff I use the mouse.

I hate shopping, specially clothes and shoes. I'm a bit of a scruff and all I want is something warm and comfy without spending a fortune. Not helped by the fact that I'm only 5 feet tall.

i hate shopping, and cant remember the last time i went into a dress shop, other than a charity shop. ditto the main high street chain stores. i tewnd to buy from ebay or car boot, auction, etc. if i absolutely have too.

what i really hate is food shopping, as i am often in the shop trying to remember what i came in for in the first place, and then it is either not there, or too expensive.

Online Tesco shops rock - I do this every single week, have done for years. It saves SO much hassle!

Oh yeah I forgot the carboot too, I go about once a month, but OH is addicted to going to them - he gets up 5am every Sunday to do the rounds!

I do food shopping out of necessity , clothes shopping only when its an even bigger necessity......I tend to look at something , pick it up and check the inside seams etc ( made clothes etc for years) go "HOW MUCH ? " and put it down again. and yes garden centres do not count as shopping
S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

I don;t mind food shopping but then again I like to put nice food into me and not crap stuff so I don't seem to mind it. I always know what I want and as a vegan its immpossible for me to spend hours browsing seeing as the only stuff i can eat in the supermarket is the fresh produce haha! I feel sorry for people that go and get sucked into all the rubbish offers and stuff.

Went out - first for a walk through the local forest looking for any yummy treats left inthe hedgerows/trees, found some sloes that werent ready and some hips that ill get on the weekend after the frosts. then had a quick look around the local allotments, then headed into town - and went straight to a charity shop and did the usual of buying books and ragged old clothing for me to rip and stitch at my pleasure haha. so no winter shoes, and no winter jacket. back at square one.

I've never been into shopping as a hobby/pastime. I shop if I need something, and then I like to do hit and run shopping (research the best model/price on tinternet first).

I can't remember the last time I bought new clothes: mine are either from charity shops or I make them myself

I'd rather be a creator than a consumer

I'd love to know how to make clothes. That would solve lots of my problems

It's REALLY easy. I made all mine when I was in school as I had a sewing machine.....

Pop down to Anglia Fashion Fabrics on Magdalen St, browse the fabrics and the patterns at the back of the shop. See if you're inspired ... (I LOVE fabric shopping)
