I considererd hibernating but then I wouldn't be able to sow my chillies early.I could avoid Christmas and all this hassle as what to get to everybody to make them happy(hate rubbish gifts).I have to stock myself with food just in case...
The weather here is so unpredictable-30 miles away at my work they haven't heard about the snow at all-my phone call in the morning"sorry,I can't get out of the village" was a bit of surprise for my employer
Oooops, forgot to add,the pics are from February(not this morning)

Blue skies and glorious sunshine from what I can see from my office window. I was cold in bed last night though so maybe tonight we'll put the heating on... for the first time!

Just had to run some errands in town - 7 mile bike ride in a heavy shower, bitterly cold wind. My jacket and waterproof trews kept me nice & dry though, now I'm warming up with a norty Sticky Toffee Pud

It's been horrible here today. Really cold and wet, with hail as well.

We had a lovely sunny day here today. Spent the day in the garden emptying pots, clearing out the greenhouse and planting out daffodil bulbs. The forecast for tomorrow says more of the same, so here's hoping.....

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
