Well no snow, but our first frost this morning. A really lovely sunny morning though, and the girls do not seem to mind eating the frosty grass.
Although I am not sure my tomatoes are happy in the polytunnel, with frost on the inside of the plastic.

Checked the weather station (data relayed from my veg patch) - it was -5.0 at 8.20 this morning. First proper frost of the season. Guess I will be spending my weekend clearing out sad looking dead things.....but I do love the sunny morning after the frost.

...frost on the grass at 7am and my winter coat is out of its dry cleaning wrap. I still haven't put the heating on though. I was busy pottering around last night so kept warm.

My first pony was a 14.2hh Appaloosa...he had black eyeliner and wore lipstick when he'd eaten blackberries off the hedgerows!!!!

Very cold here this morning, ice on all the water in the garden, Oca and courgettes dead, tomatoes in the unheated greenhouse (fruit removed, just wanting to see how long they will last) seem to be OK.

Went to 0c in the GH. Not sure what it went to outside.

She sure has Glutton, the problem is that she has a back problem so her stomach looks worse than what it is, athough we do try to limit her grazing. She also suffers from COPD and is retired now, but being an Appy she has such a wonderful nature and is like a big cuddly bear to hug.
                    We love her dearly.
