I would do, but a) I'm too greedy and would rather eat a pumpkin, and b) I don't have the paitence or skills to do it

Looking for ideas, I came across a site showing the work of Ray Villafane (Welcome to Villafane Studios. Ray Villafane - Master Sculptor) so, sick of the usual patterns I'm going to give his tutorial a go - queue a big pile of pumpkin mess and a trip to A&E to sew the fingers back on!

I'm hopefully going to carve my 763 lb pumpkin this year. It's currently on display at a garden centre so think the theme is going to be Christmas instead of Halloween. I will post a picture of the finished piece when its done. I shall be doing the same 3D style as last years pumpkin. Unfortunately, I don't have anything else lying around to carve for Halloween. Then again I do have a green 53 lb Marrow out back..... maybe a carving of Frankinstein is in order! lol

Ray Villafane is amazing isn't he! It was seeing his work on youtube that got me started on this 3D carving.
