  • Malvern Spring Show Grape Fest

Between May 10th and 13th its the Malvern Spring Show.

Piglette and Myself along with Wellie and Trousers are going to be going over the weekend and would love any grapes who can make it to join us for a picnic style lunch in the Gold carpark. Sunday is bargain plant day as the display plants get sold off at the end of the day, see picture of Piglette making like a bandit with a display fuscia, so that may be the best day to go.

If anybody who can make it and wants to join us can bring something either home made or home grown (keeping the GYO philosophy going) to nibble on we can perhaps have a veritable feast and put names to faces. Dont worry, we dont expect everybody to "stay in a group" all day. We can just come together to scoff all of the goodies at lunchtime and do our own things for the rest of the day..

Anyways, who's up for some serious plant therapy and quality home fare.

    Here is a link.

Hmm, its on our weekend off, think I'll have a word with Mr D and see whether he fancies a trip down! Think the MINI could probably do that in about an hour and a half or so, if the roads are clear that is!

I'm getting married in Zakinthos. We are hoping to pop to Athens for two days for a mini honeymoon which will be really exciting, I have always wanted to see the history in Athens. I'm sure I'll get busy posting closer to the time when I am beginning to threat about forgetting my passport and stuff!!

I go every year, with my dad, as it's literally 5 mins drive from his house. I'll be going on the Friday, though, as I have to work on the Sat & Sun

I mentioned the Gold car park in my first post, no I am not having delusions of grandeur but this car part is right outside the entrance gate and makes it much easier to meet up for lunch.

The other car parks are spread about everywhere and can mean a good walk carrying scoff and having been before we can bagsy a nice corner which is sheltered and just the job for a wee picnic.
