Bex, most car parking is free at the showground. It's only 'Gold' (close to the gates) for which you have to pay.

Bex, I think there is free carparking for the showground on approach roads (if I read the travel section right!), it's just that the 'Pigletwillie' family & 'Wellie & Trousers' must have more money than us & want to park in the posh 'Gold' carpark near the entrance which costs £10. Sounds like it will be a good day but does seem a bit expensive. Malvern is lovely though, we stayed in a pretty hotel there once, think it used to be an abbey or something.
      Beat me to it Happymouffe!

Thats ok then HM, panicked abit when i could see the amount adding up. Does anyone know if kids are free as I can't find anything about child prices. Unusual if they are these days.

I wish I had more money Sue, It just makes logistics easier as the trog from some of the carparks can be a fair old way. In addition the gold carpark has dunnies and is a bit more sheltered. By all means save your tenner and just come wander up to "the encampment" with your wares and enjoy some good food and even better company.

Mr D is interested in coming, but it will depend on finances at the time, not only admission and car parking, but it will cost us about £30 odd to drive down there! With any luck we will be able to make it, but will have to let you know nearer the time!

We are prolly going to go as well, but get this:
1000 miles from Bavaria to home, plus 400 miles round trip from home to Malvern. So 1400 miles at 250 miles per tank. Each tank = about £50 for 100 octane fuel.... That'll be a 1 day summer holiday in Malvern then Shirlthegirl. And that is b4 the parking charges...
                        Let's go diggin' dirt....

Big silver bird, come land low and slow
Cut your engines, cool your wings,
                        You've taken me home...

Hmm, maybe we should take my car then? To be honest, I hadn't considered fuel costs!

You're going to have to work nearer home MadMax, you know it makes sense.
