...our neighbours' daughter is getting married next summer and wanted her reception at home in a large pretty tenty thing.
Bloke came today to measure up- and their garden isn't big enough
The farmer who owns the grazing land behind their house doesn't want his land messing with
...and so a very tearful future bride asked if we could see if the tent would fit in our 'field'
The answer being yes - if we move then hens and geese for a week, they skim off the surface and abandon our plans to extend our veg plot ( already started).....it leaves 3ft from the edge of our last raise bed and the edge of the tent!
Well I never- a circus/wedding tent in our field...who would ever have imagined that!!!
...I've had a lot of hugs today!
