I wasnt particularly thinking of you, Hilary and I wasnt demanding a lift - I just thought if someone was going there and back they might be able to squeeze us in, if not then no worries...

I think a mini grapestock (pipstock?) for wales would be good too, few welshies/inhabitants of wales around aint there?

I'd love to pop over, but fear my mrs would ask why we can't go on holiday but I can swan off to France to meet some strangers off the internet

I'd come to Wales Can't afford passports, ferries, dog-sitter etc unfortunately, but Wales is do-able. And I'll get to practice my Welsh too, assuming I actually manage to learn some by then...

I can 'do' Wales, too. Well, if it's Easter weekend, then it'll tie in with our usual Land Rovering trip!

Most recently, I've been answering it with "Batmans Cave, Robin speaking" - bout as good as my welsh gets

I was just generally regretting our inability to offer....

Once a date is fixed- it'll be easier for everyone to sort out their plans and transport.

I'm sure there will be some way of getting a fair few Grapes over the Channel at a reasonable price

I'm hoping it's the weekend of one of the May(ish) bank holidays, but if it ends up Easter, well, no real problem.

Speaking as someone who personally engineered peeps to meet for the very first time 'face to face' off another vegetable-growing forum (at The Malvern Show) years ago, which is where Trousers and I beautifully first met our friends 'The Piglets', I can only recommend a meeting of like-minded souls such as this with huge enthusiasm, and, even though Trousers and I wont be able to be there, I can tell you now, I truly wish that we were able to
Both of us wish all of you huge amounts of fun.X
