Well, from my experience one of our biggest 'student leaders' in the 70s transformed into a bigwig in Costain. Leadership will out - and I prefer principled leadership to the other kind - leadership through birth/ wealth.

Yes, I can remember power cuts, reading by candle light. The first time it's a bit of a novelty, but it very rapidly becomes miserable

I remember power cuts too, as if it was the day before yesterday. Oh, wait - it was the day before yesterday! Right in the middle of 'Genius' on the telly!
