Wind damage anyone????

I only got my allotment yesterday, and went down there to find my shed has blown over!

Oh well, its still in one peice, just on its side so i will go and put it back up again when the winds have died down. There was nothing in it.

Couple of pots blown over. Haven't been up to the greenhouse (plastic Norfolk one) yet but at least it's still there.

So far I'm only aware of one other Grape having their shed blown over,,,think it was bobleponge????

No damage here even though it sounded rough outside last night, so I went to bed early and put my head under the covers.

All ok here Nico's, went and checked on the Girls this morning- they are fine thank goodness as I was almost expecting to see a pile of boxes and a lot of angry or worse (dead) bees. A huge sigh of relief here.

Well the view from my kitchen window is not great! We have a grey pallet thingy that we use as a gate between us and next door, it is heavy! that somehow has found itself ontop of one of my concrete pots and my greenhouse (plastic zip up) has been dumped on my path about 10feet where it was originally!!

Everyone comments on how protected my garden is from the winds so this brutallity must have come to a slight shock to my poor garden!

Tree in the lane has come down, the local farmer dragged it out of the way and there are a swarm of people with chainsaws topping up their wood stores

Morning all.

I have bits of slate tiles in my back garden but not from my roof it seems, thank goodness.

My new plastic growhouse didnt budge which amazed me because its quite flimsy.

The guinea pig looks a bit disgruntled but his hutch-run weathered the winds without damage or movement.

It was quite terrifying here though, extremely windy.

My front fence is looking rather the worse for wear. My gate won't shut as the fence has blown out of place, and the fence posts are starting to lift from the concrete.

Problem is that without the fence my garden etc is totally unsecure, and the dogs can't be let out of the house unless on a lead, as there is direct access to the road...

I'll be surprised if the fence is still standing when I get back from work. We've had to prop the gate open to stop it being ripped off it's hinges.

Think tonight I'll be looking to see if it's covered on my houses insurance!

few trees blown down through the lanes this morning.. one quite large.. maybe 50/60 foot?

Along a main road, I heard on the radio a 100ft tree had blown onto it.. glad I don't use any main roads to get into town.. Massive flooding through the lanes though.. bit worried I'd flood my engine. I need a car on stilts! Still, it coped with the massive flooding a few years back whilst I was stuck on the M5

Nothing local though (as in damage to house/garden/gh)
