youre right in its a type of worm and those things are sensors, and yes it does pierce and suck out liquids

My lizard is a gecko. When I posted a pic to a reptile-fancier site I was told it was a Morrocan Gecko (I reckon it is Spanish<g>).
The footprints look like fox to me, but without any scale to compare with it might be a dog..
