I'm trying to starve myself so that I will fancy what I've defrosted for my own dinner: lotty soup with Quorn sausages chopped up in it

Beef casserole with home grown onions / shallots and spuds (bought carrots as this year's crop was pants). Cookie for afters (or maybe cheese and crisps). Plus lots of red wine.

We had Roast Chicken,, with potatoes from the garden, parsnips and carrots in honey and thyme, onions stuffed with cream and cheese and wrapped in bacon and sprouts, bacon and chesnuts.

                  Apple and blackberry crumble followed.

And we were 4.5 happy well fed and happy fellows

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Just about to have roast chicken stuffed with onions & sage, yorkies, roast spuds, carrots, french beans, cabbage & peas. Just the chicken & yorkies not produced by me

Spent yesterday cooking so as to not have to think about it for the week, so the week's menu is: Spag. bol., coq au vin, beef caaserole and dumplings, beef hotpot (like a Lancashire hotpot but with beef) and chicken in garlic cream sauce.

Yum! What a fab selection of meals!

I'm just putting the finishing touches to duck (with PW's plum sauce of course) with spuds, winter salad and devilled mushrooms.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
