Had filled fresh pasta (and no I did not make it) with roasted garlic and tomato sauce (I did make). Suppose I had better confess to my pud - butterscotch Angel Delight yummy (I don't care if it's full of additives)

Made a massive curry took me 4 hours but was well worth it, made:

      Roasted bombay potatos (proper lush!)
      Lentil & spinach dahl
      vegetable rhogan josh
      onion bhajis
      rice
      peshwari flatbreads

freezer is now full to brim with curry

all sounds yummy! would you believe it; after looking forward all day, to my dinner, i went out to collect the breadmaker, at short notice, and got delayed, and so my roast was dry and stringy, and the roast potatoes were not at thier best; what a dissapointment! will put the roast into a stew today and hope it tastes better this time around, with fluffy fat dumplings! it was a reduced joint which i cut into 4 sections and froze individually, so not the end of the world, but even so , i feel cheated!

I read that out to Mr. G, who thought it was a subtle hint (it wasn't) so he made some. Yummy! Thanks for the tip!

Well, Dinner at sisiter's turned out to be roast beef with roasted carrots, swede and shallots, broccoli, baby mushrooms and heaps of mash to soak the gravy up. I made an apple crumble. Hmmm....

Just eaten a bowl of soup using the last of my toms that had ripened but felt a bit soft to use in a salad.

My prob is the urge to 'impulse nibble' some when I go to the fridge for the milk for my cuppa...and when I put it back
