Meanwhile the cats had crawled from under the chooks to try on there outfits that Auntie Flum had knitted for them.
Maisie has a shimmering number with lots of sequins on because she was going to be "Tinker bell from hook" in the pantomime in the village over the hill.
Jinny was "Puss In Boots" and Wumpa was "Dick Whittington" at the Alhambra.

Just then from behind the bar came a blood curdling screech.......

Bubblewrap ( who is usually very, very brave chidren) had just spotted lottie dolly's prizewinning scarecrow propped up in the corner...and thought something awful had happened to Two_Sheds....

"c'mon Bubblewarp , pull yourself together you're scaring the birds ." said a very red looking G4 ......"T_S is fine she's up satairs running up some new outfits for the elves."

..."Ta daaaar, here they are...what do ya think" said a rather happy T.S. "Now who wants to be the elves?. Come on...don't all put ya hands up at once"
As she looked round the room she noticed Brengirl still with the wine glass stuck firmly to here ear..."Come on...you first".......

"WASSAT...........can't hear you, I have a glass in my ear " mumbled Brengirl absentmindedly.........

....the door flies open and who should appear but...........

bigT's snowman...which he'd manhandled onto a trolly to show off his son's skills to all the Grapes .
Unfortunately....

Everybody leapt towards the snowman to try to stop him slipping off the stricken trolly, but...

they all collided and fell in one massive heap on the floor along with the now rapidly melting snowman .
As one they shouted "OH KAPOK "

Kapok being the Norse God of Stricken Snowmen, obviously.

Meanwhile, Caro, Nicos, Fi and Bins thought they heard the pompiers approach, so snuck out the back door (via the ladies for a lipstick-fixing session) and hoped no-one would notice their absence. Unfortunately ....

...being that magic time of year....Gingers snowcat had some to life...and was scaring the heebyjeebies out of the real cats which had finally calmed down and were curled up in front of the roaring fire.
Up the curtains they leaped hissing and shredding en route.......
