    Actually, I just wish I was smart enough to understand it all! I love the fact that any one of us can come on to the Vine, ask a question about ANYTHING, and there is always someone who can help. I love this place!

      that was english! I once was a geek, now I'm come out of GA... so all that was from memory hehe. I did used to sit and pull virus' apart for "fun"... blimey, if only I could go back in time and give myself a good hiding! I'd have probably become a vet, rather than a programmer!!! tut.

          OK, you are all losing me a little. I know a bit but.... anyway, full scan (which took all night and good part of today to complete) showed absolutely nothing and this antivirus detector(avast- installed by my brilliant computer fixing guy) has so far been really good at not letting anything open if it was infected. There's no overload of info when I rebooted and it's all running very smoothly again. It was the fact that a trojan virus could camouflage itself as this programme that really worried me when I had n't made any alterations/downloaded anything new.
          Many many thanks, all been an interesting learing curve.
          Normal service now resumed and we can all go back to talking gardens and chickens

                lettucegrow - that Spy Bot Search & Destroy is a great utility for keeping your clean of spyware, etc. Antoher good one is Adaware - but I think Spy bot has the edge.

                I pulled two lovely parnsips out the other day - beauts!
