          One thing my BIL gets for the inlaws is a bird watching trip on the river Exe, they really enjoy it. Maybe there is something similar in your area. Not for Gran though.

                Hmmmm... FIL has mobility problems , I would love to get MIL a break but the practicalities are immense. They live N. Wales so it's not as if we can just pop round to look after FIL.
