    Yaaaaayyyy!!!

Sorry have to brag about it on here as I cant tell Mum and Mil as they are pressies for their xmas hampers!

                  Thanks peeps

I sort of merged 2 recipes, I followed this one

                  http://www.cottagesmallholder.com/re...apple-jelly-43

but added some finley chopped red chillis a few minutes before the end of cooking (that bit came from another recipe) let it cool a little bit, you can see the chillis start to drop, then poured it into jars.... hey presto

Taff, from what I have read (also someone on the vine... sorry cant remember who, but thanks) you have to wait a little while it cools slightly in the pan. It was only a minute or two but I stirred it a couple of times and you gradually see the 'bits you wants suspended' drop thats when I quickly poured it into the jars.

To be honest I think it was more luck than judgement

You must be real proud Munch. Congratulations. I have been making jams and jellies for yonks and have only just realised that you do not pot immediately but leave to rest about 15 minutes. Well done you.
